Homemade face mask recipes to get your skin going from drab to fab!
If you’re like me, then every trip to the mall automatically transforms you into a kid in a candy store. Just merely driving into a parking spot in front of the mall puts the biggest grin on my face. With so many different new products to choose from, it’s hard to hold back and think about spending your money wisely.Although I highly recommend splurging on cosmetics and skin care products, there is one product I think you can afford to forgo paying high retail prices for and make yourself at home – the beloved face mask. Why not make your own, natural face masks with products you already have in your fridge?
You can make an easy and quick face mask for any type of skin with only a few ingredients.
Try these homemade recipes to get your skin going from drab to fab:
All skin types:
•Oatmeal & yogurt – 1 tbsp grinded oatmeal, 1 tbsp unflavored yogurt, and 3 drops of honey.
•Coffee & cocoa – To brighten up a dull complexion and decrease puffiness, use 4 tbsp finely ground coffee beans , 4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 8 tbsp unflavored yogurt or almond milk and 2 tbsp honey for dry skin or lemon juice for oily skin.
•Aspirin Mask – To heal pimples, use 3 ground aspirin and a tsp of olive oil.
•Banana Mask for oily skin – Mix 1 ripe banana, 1 tbsp honey and 1 lemon.
Combination Skin:
•Rose Face Mask- This mask not only balances out oily & dry areas of your skin, but also gives you a great excuse to get more flowers from your guy! Use 6 fresh rose petals, 2 tbsp rose water, 1 tbsp yogurt, and 1 tbsp warm honey.
Dry Skin:
•Avocado Face Mask – This mask is an awesome moisturizer and great for wrinkles. Just mix ½ avocado and ¼ cup honey.
•Brown Sugar Scrub – 1 tbsp brown sugar & 1 tsp olive oil.
You can also make some easy exfoliators!
•Coffee, lavender & sugar – This mix calms skin and reduces blemishes.
•Sugar & olive oil – Softens skin and removes dead skin cells.
